What happened to the men in our society?
When did Winston Churchill, Theodore Roosevelt, and Steve McQueen get replaced by Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, and Al Bundy?
When did it become okay for men to forgo work, family, and purpose for video games, porn, and booze?
Marcus Aurelius once said,
It is not death a man should fear. He should fear never truly beginning to live
And sadly, most men never truly begin to live.
They die at age 22 but they aren’t buried until age 72.
When we were boys, we had all of these grand plans, dreams, and visions. We felt like everything was possible and we knew in our hearts that we were created to make a difference.
We wanted to travel the world, fight meaningful battles, meet the woman of our dreams, start businesses, and go an adventure.
But then something happens.
The boy “grows up”, dies, and starts living in the “real world”.
And as the grown man sits at home, his overweight body pressing into his financed leather recliner, a drink in his hand, and the television blaring while he’s lost looking at photos of other men and women living their lives on social media… He wonders “Where the hell did it all go wrong?”
- He dreamed of traveling the world, but he’s been stuck in his comfort zone for 25 years and hasn’t ventured more than 50 miles from home in years.
- He dreamed of meeting that special someone, the woman who would light his heart on fire and inspire him to create and move mountains like many of the great men of history… But instead, he settled into an uninspiring marriage with a woman he can barely stand.
- He dreamed of creating a business that would define a generation and change lives. But he’s scared to publish a website and he’s spent the past 5 years of his life building someone else’s dream while he slaves away in a cubicle.
- He dreamed of creating real wealth for himself like he read about in Think and Grow Rich. But instead, he finds himself mired in debt, investing money he doesn’t have in crap that he doesn’t need to look like he’s doing okay.
And the worst part?
He did everything right.
He got good grades in school, went to a good college, worked hard, graduated, and got a great job right out of the gate.
And yet… Life isn’t the grand adventure that he thought it would be.
In fact, it’s a dull, monotonous slow crawl towards old age.
With a grim reality like the one depicted above, is it any wonder why men are in such dire straits in 2017?
Here are the facts:
- 53% of men under the age of 25 in America are unemployed
- 30% of the male population is obese
- Roughly 31% of men have suffered from clinical depression
- 68% of all “D” and “F” students in the current education system are boys
- The suicide rate is 4x higher for men than women
- Nearly 30% of the male population reports some level of alcohol & substance abuse
So if men are in so much pain, if they are suffering so greatly, then why aren’t they reporting it on the news? Why aren’t there more support groups and counselors available? And more importantly…
Why aren’t more men asking for help?
It’s because we have been inundated with this idea that asking for help is weak, that it’s somehow “beta”, or for “losers”. But the opposite is true.
You see, reaching out for support, specifically hiring a men’s coach doesn’t mean that you are weak or that you can’t handle things on your own.
Men who invest in coaching realize that they don’t have all the answers and they need perspective on their current situation to accelerate their life and achieve their goals at a faster rate.
Coaching isn’t about crying to someone else about your problems, or whining about how unfair life is.
It’s about stepping into your true masculine power and unleashing your full potential on the world.
With a high-performance men’s coach by your side, you will be able to cut through the b.s., gain massively valuable insights, and take years off your learning curve by leveraging the perspective and wisdom of someone who has already been there (and done it successfully for hundreds of other men).
If you look at any of the greats, they all had coaches and mentors in their life.
Warren Buffet had Benjamin Graham.
Manny Pacquiao had Freddie Roach.
Tony Robbins had Jim Rohn.
Anyone whose name you remember had someone in their life (whether you know about them or not) who helped steer them towards success and avoid the traps along their journey.
Men need this guidance more than they ever have before, so let’s dive into the 7 powerful reasons why every man needs a men’s coach.
1. You Are Not Surrounded by Strong Grounded Men
So let me ask you… Who are you spending your time with?
Jim Rohn once said,
You are the average of the five people you spend your time with most
What does the average Friday night look like for you and your friends?
Are you spending time together discussing your new business deals, sharing lessons you have learned from your relationship, and talking about your goals and dreams?
Or are you wasting time with your friends (or alone), getting shit faced before you even leave the house, complaining about how all the women in your life are “(insert derogatory word here)”, and thanking your lucky stars that you don’t have to go back to work for two more days?
Nothing, and I mean nothing, will have a greater affect on your life and success than the people that you associate with.
And by hiring a men’s coach, you are instantly boosting the quality of your social circle and changing the men you spend time with in a positive way.
A high performance men’s coach will provide you with the grounded masculine advice, heavy accountability and teaching that you need to break free from your bullshit story and really start living a life on your terms (yes this is possible, it’s not woo woo nonsense).
They will inspire you because of their successes and they will help you surround yourself with other men who can lift you to a higher level and lift you out of your current circumstances.
You cannot grow and become a more powerful man if you are not surrounding yourself with the right people.
And a men’s coach is one of the only guaranteed ways to change who you’re around overnight.
2. You Are Playing Small and Living Below Your Potential (and you know it!)
Most men are playing it small.
Even the ones who are “successful”. And this isn’t intentional.
They are simply unaware of their true potential and so they continue performing below it, never truly embracing their deepest desires and abilities because they don’t have anyone in their lives calling them forward.
I know great entrepreneurs who are generating a healthy 6-figures in profit every year who could be pushing for 7.
They aren’t stagnating at $100,000 because they want to, they are stagnating because they don’t realize the potential that they have to achieve on a higher level.
I know plenty of other men who are working a 9-5 that they dislike while they dream of writing that novel, starting that company, or going on that life-changing adventure.
And the dream dies because they never take action.
Not because they don’t want to, but because they have become so accustomed to playing small and staying inside their comfort zone that they aren’t even aware their lives can drastically change.
When you hire a high-performance men’s coach, they won’t let you off the hook, they won’t let you play small, they won’t let you continue living a life below what you are truly capable of.
Your coach knows how to lift you up to another level and challenge you to push yourself beyond what you believe you are capable of.
If your coach feels like you are settling or if they feel like your goals are not audacious and big enough, they will call you out and force you to level yourself up to meet your true potential.
You will hate it in the moment, but after the conversation you’ll thank him. This is what men are missing in their lives.
With a coach by your side you will transform from the man who sets small goals, half-asses the attempt and walks away saying “I tried” into the man who sets wild ambitious goals, puts his heart and soul into them, and walks away with a smile saying “I did it.”
3. You Lack the Discipline to Achieve Your Goals
The one thing that holds most men back from achieving their goals is that they lack the discipline necessary to follow through.
They know that they should wake up early, go through a morning routine, and spend the early hours of the day dedicated to their goals.
But instead, they wake up 45 minutes late, skip their shower, and make it to work late enough to get reprimanded but early enough to avoid getting fired.
Most of you know that you should go to the gym multiple times a week, eat healthy foods, and get good sleep.
But instead, you skip the gym in favor of watching your favorite netflix series or porn, chow down on delivery pizza and “all natural” chips, and sleep a mere 4-5 hours a night because of your growing addiction to “insert social app of choice here”.
You know that, if you are single, you should be meeting new women every day, and if you are in a relationship you should take time each day to genuinely connect with your significant other.
But instead, most of us chicken out when we see an attractive woman and we avoid real conversations with our girlfriends and wives because we’d rather play Halo or watch tv and drink with friends who are likely holding us back.
This pervasive lack of discipline is killing society, and it’s killing your dreams all the while.
But when you have a high-performance coach by your side, someone who you trust and respect, someone who you look up to and don’t want to disappoint, you are going to get your ass into high gear.
Your coach provides you with the heavy accountability that you need to break your bad habits, embrace your new identity, and complete the daily activities required to achieve your goals.
You will find yourself with more energy, vitality, and motivation than ever before.
There is an old saying that goes like this.
The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your habits.
And when you have a high-performance coach keeping you accountable and pushing you to create better and better habits, you will find that the quality of your life will skyrocket to levels you never imagined possible.
The only thing you’ll be complaining about is why didn’t I get a coach years ago…
4. You Do Not Truly Know Yourself and Your Deepest Desires
Do you feel lost? Unsure of your purpose and who you are as a man?
Do you feel like everyone else has their life figured out except for you?
If so, then hiring a men’s coach might be the single most important decision that you ever make.
Because here’s a little secret they never taught you in high school.
The majority of your vices, addictions, and problems in life stem from a lack of self-awareness and purpose.
If you are living your life without a clear understanding of who you are and what you stand for and without a clear and compelling purpose that gets you out of bed in the morning, then you are going to become a victim of societal conditioning.
You will be more likely to use drugs, sedate your troubles with alcohol, and become addicted to porn because it’s instantly gratifying.
If you don’t have an identity and a clear purpose, then why shouldn’t you spend your weekends lying in mounds of drugs, empty Bud Light bottles, and pointless encounters with women?
You see, knowing yourself, having a crystal clear identity and understanding of who you are and what you stand for is one of the single greatest keys to success.
And that’s where your high-performance coach comes in.
Throughout your life, society, your family, your friends, and the media have all tried to fill your head with countless negative beliefs and stereotypes about who you should be and what you should do.
Your coach won’t do that…
They are here to help you cut through the crap, take a long hard look at your life, and figure out who you really are, what you really believe, and what you really want to accomplish in your life.
They have countless exercises to help you tap into your subconscious to map out your true identity and desires in a way that no therapist, psychologist, or “Shrink” can. If a coach doesn’t get you results then he’s out of a job.
And when you go through these exercises and you take the time to really get intimate with yourself. That’s when you become powerful.
As Epictetus said
No man is free who is not the master of himself
And it is impossible to master yourself without first knowing yourself.
5. You Lack a Clear Roadmap to Achieve Your Goals
Maybe you are already clear on who you are and what you want. You have surrounded yourself with good people, and you have some sort of accountability structure in life.
But you feel like you are just spinning your wheels in the mud, never moving forward and maybe even slowly moving backward.
You feel like a hamster in a ball, banging itself endlessly against the wall.
It’s okay, I’ve been there too.
And in situations like this, you need someone who can come alongside you and help you clearly map out the steps you need to take to go from where you are to where you want to be.
As the old saying goes, “You don’t know what you don’t know”, and that’s where a coach can come in and help you eliminate your blind spots and insecurities so that you can take massive action towards your dreams.
And not just any action… The right action.
Because moving fast in the wrong direction will just get you lost quicker.
Before you truly commit yourself to a goal, you need to be sure that you have the right roadmap. And with the right coach, you will be able to quickly develop a plan based on proven results and case studies so that you have 100% confidence in every step you are taking.
You will be able to eliminate the busy work and focus only on what matters, helping you reach your goals faster and with more precision than you ever thought possible.

6. You Are Paralyzed by Fear
I have to be blunt with you right now – you will lose the game of life if you do not master your fears. And the sad part about this is that you don’t get a second chance. This thing called “life” is not a rehearsal. One shot. That is all you get.
Fear is the stealer of all great dreams and ambitions.
But the thing is, most of the fears that hold us back and keep us playing small are completely untrue. And your coach will not only help you realize this, but they will give you powerful tactics and accountability to break through your fears and limiting beliefs so that you can live your dream life.
No one teaches you how to analyze, dissect, and overcome your fears in high school, college or at your work.
They will equip you with everything you need to look at your fears objectively and crush them under your heel so that you can live a life of your choosing.
How many fears do you have in your life that are holding you back from happiness, holding you back from joy, fulfillment, and love?
If you have been too scared to put yourself back out there after your divorce, your coach will stand by your side and help you realize the cost of inaction.
If you have been too scared to ask your long term girlfriend to marry you (even though you know she’s the one), your coach will help you understand what’s holding you back and break through it.
If you know that you need to start your business, quit your day job, and pursue your dreams, your coach will hold your feet to the fire and help you break through your limiting beliefs until you do what needs to be done.
Whatever fear has been suffocating you and holding you back from reaching your true potential, your men’s coach will help you break through it and achieve the success you’ve been longing for.
Other men have broken through their fears so there is no reason why you can’t too.
Your men’s coach will do more than just help you understand your fears. They will help you realize the true cost of allowing fears to dictate your life.
They will help you reframe your fear and anxiety so that you become more afraid of allowing fear to run your life than you are of any outcome.
7. You Are Afraid to Make the Investment In Yourself
Men in general struggle to invest in themselves. They’re quick to help others and slow to help themselves. And many of you reading this are probably scared to invest in yourself.
But let me ask you something…
When was the last time you spent more than $125 on shoes? How about your last Friday night out? What did you spend then?
Do you freak out and exclaim “It’s a scam!” when you are charged $25 for an IMAX movie ticket and $12 for a small popcorn?
Of course not!
What sort of ROI did those purchases bring into your life?
Did you really get value out of those $125 pair of shoes? Did that Friday night where you had too much to drink really satisfy your deepest desires and goals? Did that lofty vacation change anything when you got back home?
Did that movie leave you feeling inspired, motivated, and empowered to take action and charge forward in life?
I don’t think so…
Warren Buffet one of the richest men in the world is often quoted for saying that
The best investment I ever made was in myself
Tony Robbins has told crowds time and time again that the best investment he ever made was in a $35 personal development tape from Jim Rohn.
Every great man who has ever lived understood the value of investing in themselves.
And if you are scared to take the leap and invest in coaching… Then good! It’s a sign that you are on the right path.
What you fear the most is what you most need to do.
I believe that you should always allow your fears to guide you, and if the prospect of spending money on a men’s coach doesn’t scare you, then don’t do it! You won’t take it seriously, you won’t take action, and you won’t get results. You are absolutely right it won’t work for this type of man.
But if you are hesitant about taking the leap, if you are a little scared about investing money into yourself, then I want to challenge you to do it.
Aren’t you worth it?
Isn’t your happiness, your success, and your damn life worth it!
I sincerely hope so because I think that’s why you landed on a personal development website.
Men are beginning to realize that it’s ok to ask for help, they’re beginning to realize that women actually want to see men who are investing in themselves and becoming stronger and more grounded men, and they’re beginning to realize that they owe it to themselves to become the best men they can be.
And their coaches are there to help facilitate this transformation and guide them every step of the way.
There is a sleeping giant that has been lying dormant inside of you for so many years, and it’s time to wake the beast up and unleash your most powerful self on the world.
So what are you going to do about it?
Will you cower and shrink, being too afraid to ask for help, being too prideful to admit that you cannot do it alone, saying “Why me?”
Or will you rise to the challenge, enlist the help of others, stand tall in the face of adversity and say “let’s do it!”
I hope that you will rise.
I hope that you step up to the challenge.
I hope that you will embrace the beauty of life and truly LIVE dammit!
So are you ready?
Some of you reading this are not, and that’s okay I get it. I hope that one day you will come back to this content and make the commitment to yourself one day.
But some of you… Some of you are ready to move forward.
You are ready to unleash the powerful man who has been living below his full potential for too many years, you are ready to become your strongest self. You are ready to take a bold step forward in the face of fear.
If that is you, then I want to invite you to let us help you on this journey. I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours finding and training the best team of high-performance men’s coaches on the planet.
