“It’s all in your head.”
This phrase is usually used to express the idea that something a person is experiencing is imagined and isn’t real. It’s a rather crude way to dismiss someone’s worries about a particular situation.
But what if we change the context of this phrase? What if we remove the negative connotation and replace it with a positive one? What if we use these words as an empowering proposition? A way to reassess our internal dialogue?
Your thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs hold immense power over you. In turn, they determine your actions and your outcomes in life.
Yes, outside circumstances might have some influence on your level of success, but it is — to a large extent — all in your head.
When it comes to success, we tend to think we already know what the path looks like. If we’re talking about a successful career, that means going to college, working at an internship, graduating, getting an entry-level job at a large company, and slowly working your way up the corporate ladder.
That’s all well and fine, but it leaves out one very critical prerequisite for success: mindset. If you don’t have a winner’s mindset, you’re never going to make it out of the mail room at that company. Hell, you might not even make it to the company.
I can’t tell you how many men I know who landed their dream jobs at a certain company after applying three, four, or even five times before getting an interview. Whereas most people walk away with their tails between their legs after getting rejected once, these guys refused to give up.
Indeed, that’s the difference between winners and the rest of the population: when life gets tough, they get tough — they push on even when every instinct in their body is telling them to stop.
Do you have that mindset? Do you have the resilience and perseverance to keep going when no one else will? Do you have the drive, determination, and mindset that provide you the confidence to know you will succeed in the end?
If so, great! If that’s really true, you have no use for this article. Get off your computer or phone and get out there in the real world and show them what you’re capable of.
If, however, you fear that your own head may actually be your biggest obstacle to success, keep reading. Here are seven ways that mindset coaching can transform your life and help you tap into your dormant potential.
1. No Dream Will Be Too Big, and Nothing Will Seem Unattainable.
I just recently saw a post by a good friend of mine on social media. He’s vacationing in Monaco for the first time and commented on the insane amount of wealth floating around the country.
Monaco, if you didn’t already know, is commonly referred to as ‘the billionaire’s playground.’ It’s a place where high-end luxury boutiques, supercars, and exclusivity are quite literally everywhere you look. It’s also home to the iconic Monte Carlo casino.
And my friend’s exact words were: “I can’t wait to come back here when I’m a billionaire.”
Notice the language he used. Not ‘if’ he becomes a billionaire. Not that he ‘wishes’ he could be a billionaire. No — ‘when’ he becomes a billionaire.
And for the record, this guy isn’t in this country racking up credit card debt for a trip he can’t afford. He’s already a millionaire, but he has even greater ambitions. He’s going to be a billionaire. And I have no doubt that one day he will.
Why? Because he has a winner’s mindset. And once you master that, there are no such things as pipe dreams.
2. You’ll Stop Feeling Envious of Others and Start Feeling Inspired
I’ll be the first to say that no one should look at social media as an accurate representation of people’s lives. It’s important for everyone to realize that social media feeds are full of people who are carefully curating the things they choose to share with the world.
Nevertheless, have you ever seen photos of people living their best lives and felt a bit of envy stir inside you?
Even worse, does that envy also come with a bit of self-doubt? Thoughts that you will never be able to achieve what this person has or live the life they are?
I remember a time when I felt this way. Scrolling through my feed was utterly draining. Each picture I saw was a painful reminder of the success that was still eluding me. Back then, I didn’t think people shared things just for the sake of sharing. I thought they only did it to show off.
Today, however, I don’t see it that way. Today, I see these posts as inspiring and empowering and as a representation of what is possible.
How? Simple: I changed my mindset. And once you do that, it will be like a whole new world of opportunity has opened itself up to you.
Mindset coaching can help condition you to realize one simple thing: successful people are no different than you are. They aren’t smarter, luckier, or better than you in any way. They simply know how to tap into the power of a winning mindset.
Mindset coaching will teach you how to tap into your own dormant power. Then, you will learn how to use other people’s wins as the catalyst for your own. And envy will become a thing of the past.
3. You’ll Challenge Yourself Like Never Before and Learn to Embrace the Potential for Failure
Most people live their lives in a constant state of fear — even if they don’t realize it.
You see this a lot with aspiring entrepreneurs. They have an idea for a new business, but because of their innate fears, they’re not sure they can make it work. As a result, they ask for advice, and more often than not, the advice they get just cements those fears in place even more.
“What if you lose all your money?”
“What about paying for your own health insurance?”
“What if you break a leg and become bedridden and can’t manage your business?”
“What if… what if… what if…?”
Well, here’s the truth. While you’re over there worrying about all the shit that might happen, someone else out there is just doing it.
Because, yes, there will always be unforeseen circumstances that throw your plans off course. But that’s a hell of a lot better than never trying in the first place.
When you undergo mindset coaching, you’ll stop worrying about what might happen if you fail. You’ll learn to not only challenge yourself but to embrace failure.
Why? Because failure makes you stronger. It makes you more resilient. And that’s something anyone looking to cultivate a winner’s mindset needs to have.
4. You’ll Leave the Passive Life Behind and Embrace a More Proactive Lifestyle
“I’m going to ask for a raise.” I cannot tell you how much I hate this phrase.
Not that there’s anything wrong with trying to get more money, but that phrase epitomizes everything that is wrong with living a passive lifestyle.
A passive lifestyle is when you let circumstances dictate your life. It’s an inherent belief that things are out of your control, and there’s just nothing you can do to change them.
You have to ask your boss for money because you believe there is no way for you to earn more money on your own. In other words, you have to rely on someone else’s charity — something that is outside of your control — to improve your life.
Winners don’t operate this way. They don’t let outside circumstances dictate their lives. They make their own destiny.
And look, I get it. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. Some people need the security that comes with working a 9-5, and that’s completely fine. What isn’t fine is passively showing up for work every day, breaking your ass, doing overtime, and going above and beyond what every other person there does, only to be denied a pay increase.
Studies show that people who routinely switch employers end up making more money in the long run. These are people who lead a proactive lifestyle.
People who cultivate a winning mindset will never become passive. If they want more money, they are going to go get more money.
If their boss denies them a raise, they don’t walk back to their desk, shrug their shoulders, and say they tried their best. They simply go to another company that is willing to pay them what they’re worth. They make the change happen.
Mindset coaching will show you how to leave these passive habits behind and embrace the proactive mindset — one that is infinitely more powerful and will serve as a catalyst for future success.
5. You’ll Turn To Criticism for Growth and Develop Greater Resilience
Some people can’t take criticism. Some people will also never go anywhere in life. Don’t be one of those people.
Being able to accept criticism is one sure way to put yourself on the fast track to success.
And while it’s true that some people give criticism just for the sake of giving criticism, most people are actually trying to help. The sooner you can accept this fact, the better because being able to objectively look at your own shortcomings is the most profound thing you can do to grow.
No one is perfect. Not you, not me, not anyone else on this planet. Even athletes like Jordan or Gretzky, who are considered to be the best who ever played the sport, are never described as ‘perfect players.’
Yet do you think they became the best by shrugging off everything their coaches ever told them? Definitely not. They became the best by facing criticism and using it as a catalyst for growth.
With mindset coaching, you’ll learn to do the same thing. Society has conditioned us to dread criticism, but you can — with training — actually learn to welcome it and use it to your advantage.
6. You’ll Learn What Constitutes True Confidence and How Having It Can Transform Your Life
Far too many men I meet seem confident on the outside but are actually incredibly insecure on the inside. These guys put on a front to the world but are secretly plagued by self-doubt and uncertainty.
To compensate for this, they act like they are completely confident in everything they do. They never admit mistakes and never take ownership of their failures. And while this may fool most people, these men often cave when put under pressure or scrutiny.
When it comes to confidence, you want to — you need to — be the type of man who can exude a level of confidence that leaves no doubt in people’s minds.
Like it or not, all successful people get to a level where other successful people will challenge them. This is a way to weed out the posers from the people who legitimately belong. It’s only natural and something you should expect in any field when you elevate yourself to a higher level.
And if you can’t muster the confidence to prove that you belong, you’ll be shunned by your peers. How many overly qualified people have you come across who fail to succeed simply because of a lack of confidence?
If you want to go anywhere in life, you need to not only know what you’re doing, you need to be able to effortlessly prove it. And it’s not a matter of showing off or boasting about your skills; it’s about exuding a quiet confidence that leaves no doubt about your capabilities.
7. You’ll Learn to Embrace the Journey, the Trails, and the Hardships —Not Just the Rewards
Do you want to know the secret to being successful at anything? Learn to value not only the end results of your endeavors but the path that leads you to them.
To be more direct: you need to love putting in the work just as much as reaping the rewards. When you foster a winning mindset, you’ll come to understand that the journey is where personal growth really happens; the result is just a happy consequence.
For a perfect example, look at Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. While the results of his endeavor are yet to be determined, it’s clear that the man values the transformative journey just as much as the end result he has in mind for the social media platform.
For a simpler example, think about guys you know who are consistent at the gym. These men have no plan of ever stopping. It’s about consistently showing up, trying to become the best version of yourself, and enjoying every second of the hard work that goes into that.
The guys who want to get in shape for the beach season? They’re doomed to failure. It’s a constant cycle of ups and downs that will never end. Don’t be like those guys.
Mindset coaching will show you how to love putting in the work and embrace the journey toward your destination. When you learn to do this, life stops feeling like one big repetitive cycle.
Mr. Musk is a perfect example of a man who doesn’t just reap the rewards of his endeavors; he values the work. That’s why he shows no signs of stopping. If you hope to get anywhere in life, you need to adopt this same mentality.
What Will Life Look Like Once I Cultivate a Winner’s Mindset?
Most of the examples I provided above were in the context of career and professional settings, but that isn’t the only way that developing a winner’s mindset will transform your life.
Winning the game of wealth is one thing, but the skills you can develop with mindset coaching will transform your life in a number of other ways. Here are three things that will look drastically different after you undergo mindset training at Knowledge for Men.
1. You Won’t Look Up to Alpha Males; You’ll Be the Alpha Male.
It pains me to say this, but most men will go through life without ever truly achieving alpha male status. They’ll see these types of guys in movies, at the office, or in their own social circle, and despite secretly wanting to be just like them, they never will.
What they will do is convince themselves that being the alpha isn’t something they want. They’ll talk shit about these guys and put them down in an attempt to make themselves feel better. To each their own, but there’s no escaping the fact that guys like these are living a lie.
If you undergo my training program, though, this won’t be you. You will no longer be sitting on the sidelines idolizing the alphas; you’ll be the alpha. A winner’s mindset will allow you to embody the qualities that define you as a man.
Leadership, power, and respect. These are innate qualities that every man possesses, you just need to know how to tap into them. But when you do, you’ll have a newfound confidence that will naturally attract like-minded people (both men and women) into your circle of influence. And best of all, you will be the leader of that pack.
2. You’ll No Longer Fantasize About Women Out of Your League; You’ll Be Their First Choice.
How many times have I heard from clients who confide in me that they have dreams of dating stunning, attractive, and confident women? Whenever I ask them why they think they can’t, I get the same responses. “Me? C’mon, look at me…” “Those types of women are out of my league.” “I’ve always just been average…”
Let me ask you, how nice would it feel to never utter such self-loathing nonsense ever again? How nice would it feel to stop admiring these women from afar but actually have romantic relationships with them?
Let’s be real here; living a life of ‘what-ifs’ and ‘if only’ is no way to live. If you want to stop dreaming about the woman of your dreams and actually find her, you need to change your mindset.
When you do that, everything will shift: your perspective, your self-esteem, and, most of all, your confidence. Yes, as cliché as it may seem, confidence is the key. Hell, it’s more than the key; it’s an outright aphrodisiac.
If you want to tap into that power and have women flock to your charisma and charm, this coaching program is for you. You will, quite literally, become irresistible.
3. You’ll Be Completely Content With the Man You Have Become, and the Journey Will Be Just as Enjoyable as the Final Result.
Do you like to work? To a certain extent, I think all men do. Hard work is rewarding and is hard-wired into our very existence.
Becoming the best version of yourself — becoming a man who wakes up every morning and feels like he has the power to take on the world — will not be an easy journey. The good news is that putting in the work will be the most rewarding part.
What does your daily routine look like these days? Do you spring out of bed, excited for the day ahead, or are you just going through the motions? Do you have dreams and desires that actually feel attainable, or have you just completely given up?
If you want to walk through life with conviction and determination, mindset training is how you get there. Is it going to be easy? No. Is it going to require a hell of a lot of introspection and work? Absolutely. But I guarantee you’ll enjoy every step.
Do you know why? Because you’ll be making steady progress. Imagine having a job where every little bit of improvement and every new skill you acquire is met with a pay raise. It would be amazing, wouldn’t it? And it would sure as hell incentivize you to keep putting in the work to improve.
Mindset coaching is just like that, but instead of getting more money at work, you’ll get more opportunities in your day-to-day life. The opportunity to expand your social circle, meet new people, date amazing women, and build wealth and prosperity.
The opportunity to be a winner.
