Favorite Success Quote
“You gravitate to that which you secretly love most
You meet in life the exact reproduction of your own thoughts
There is no chance, coincidence or accident
In a world ruled by law and divine order
You rise as high as your dominant aspiration
You descend to the level of your lowest concept of your self
Free your mind and your ass will follow
The infinite intelligence within you knows the answers
Its nature is to respond to your thoughts
Be careful of the thought-seeds you plant in the garden of your mind
For seeds grow after their kind
Every thought felt as true
Or allowed to be accepted as true by your conscious mind
Take roots in your subconscious
Blossoms sooner or later into an act
And bears its own fruit
Good thoughts bring forth good fruit
Bullshit thoughts rot your meat
Think right, and you can fly
The kingdom of heaven is within
Free your mind, and your ass will follow”~George Clinton
Key Points
1. Illness Often Results From a Lack of Sleep
Based upon his medical observations, Dr. Clinton theorizes that a majority of the illnesses (especially those resultant from prolonged periods of stress) are caused not by stress, but lack of sleep.
Whenever you are in “Beast Mode” or “Hustling” and working for long hours, super passionate and so focused on goals that you are forgetting to eat and sleep, you forget one of the most important scientific laws. “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transferred” and when you are pushing yourself to succeed, you start borrowing energy until you are deep in sleep debt.
2. To Succeed… Sleep
If you really want to be successful in business and in life, learn to create a sustainable sleep schedule that more or less follows your circadian rhythm (in bed early and waking up early). While it is true that you may get a little bit more done if you sleep less, you will ultimately be more productive, happier, and more effective at what you do if you are well rested.
3. Euphoria is Normal
Euphoria (coming with the greek prefix of “eu” meaning in the middle) is what you should be feeling at most points in your life. One of the best ways to achieve a state of euphoria is to ensure that you have enough sleep. When you are well rested, you are more present, more focused and your being is more in balance
If you want to live an awesome euphoric, successful life. SLEEP
