Quick 3 minute intro of what the Knowledge For Men Podcast is about then straight into great content.
At age 20, Hal Elrod was hit head on by a drunk driver at 70 mph, broke 11 bones, was dead for 6 minutes, and his parents were told by doctors that if Hal ever came out of his coma, he had permanent brain damage and may never walk again. After 6 days in a coma, not only did he walk, he became an “Ultra” Marathon runner, hall of fame business achiever, international Keynote Speaker, Success Coach, hip-hop recording artist, and multiple time #1 bestselling author of “The Miracle Morning” and “Taking Life Head On” — two of the highest rated and most acclaimed books on Amazon.com.

Major Life Challenge
1. Hit by a drunk driver at age 20 and was clinically dead for 6 minutes, survived, fell into a coma and was told he would never walk again by doctors.
2. 2008 recession when Hal’s business collapsed in a matter of weeks and began a new journey that would result into the Miracle Morning.
After the accident in the hospital, Hal used the “can’t change it philosophy” which is you can only dwell on the past for 5 minutes then you must move forward. There are certain things you cannot change so you have to accept that and focus on the things that you can change. The “can’t change it philosophy” and positive thinking helped Hal push through therapy at an above average rate where he would later go on and run an ultra marathon.
