At age 20, Hal Elrod was hit head on by a drunk driver at 70 mph, broke 11 bones, was dead for 6 minutes, and his parents were told by doctors that if Hal ever came out of his coma, he had permanent brain damage and may never walk again.

1. Your Moments of Decision Shape Your Destiny
Tony Robbins says that “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is formed.”
Yet most of us live like our decisions in the moment do not matter.
The truth is that what your decisions in every moment are the reason you are where you are today.
If you are overweight, broke, and unhappy in your relationships, it is because of the decisions that you have made over the past 10, 20, or 30 years.
Decisions to sleep in instead of going to the gym, decisions to spend more than you earn, and decisions to tolerate low caliber behavior from people who claim that they love you.
Conversely, if you are experiencing vibrant health, financial abundance, and mind blowing intimacy, it is because of the decisions that you have made before today.
The decision to exercise and eat healthy foods, the decision to educate yourself and hustle on your business, and the decision to love yourself enough to cut out the bad relationships.
And while you cannot change the decisions that you have made before today, you can make the decision today level up your life and live a life of gratitude, discipline, and abundance.
You make decisions in an instant, but once they are truly made, there is no turning back.
So decide TODAY that you are no longer going to tolerate achieving less than you are capable of.
Decide TODAY to take 100% responsibility for your life and live life to the fullest.
2. If You Can’t Change it, Don’t Worry About It
You can’t change that.
You can’t change losing a loved one, suffering from a car accident, an economic collapse, or a life threatening health condition.
But you can change how you react to it and the story you attach to it.
But first you must decide that you are no longer going to worry about and suffer because of things that cannot change.
The past is the past.
Allow yourself 5 minutes of anger, rage, confusion, and frustration… And then move on.
Decide to elevate your life and start focusing on the things you have control over.
Focus on your attitude, your future, your goals, and the things you are grateful for.
If you can do this, I promise that the worry will disappear.
3. Win Your Mornings: Win Your Life
One of the habits shared by almost all successful people is a commitment to winning the mornings.
If you win the morning, you win the day. If you win the days you win the weeks. If you win the weeks, you win the years. And if you win the years… you win LIFE.
One of the quickest ways to elevate your game in all areas of life and start playing at a higher level is to commit yourself to a consistent ritual of waking up early and fueling your mind and body.
Start your days off at least one hour before you normally rise.
Wake up with intention and give yourself the most precious gift you have to give…. Time.
Give yourself time to focus on your body, time to focus on your goals and your vision, and time to focus on your life.
I can promise you that when you start doing this, your life will never be the same.
4. Believe that You Can Achieve It (And You Will)
All achievement is first derived from an unshakable (bordering on delusional) belief in oneself.
If you believe that you can do it and start taking action towards it… you will find a way to achieve your goals.
If you don’t believe in yourself and your ability to be successful, then no matter how amazing the opportunity is, or how great your mentors are, you will not achieve success on a real level.
Remember what Henry Ford said: “Whether you believe you can or believe you can’t… You’re right.”
5. Remember Your ABCs (Or CBAs)
All success comes from three things… The ABCs or CBAs in our case.
Clarity, belief, and action.
While we have already discussed belief, clarity and action are just as important to realizing your goals.
You see, no matter how much you believe in yourself, all of that belief is irrelevant if you are not crystal clear about what you believe you can achieve.
Do you want to start a 7-figure marketing company? Become the top ranked sales person in your company? Quit your job and travel the world with your family?
You need to develop real clarity on your goals and vision before your self belief will allow you to manifest them.
But once you have clarity of vision and the belief that you can achieve it, you must take action.
And not just some action… massive action.
Decide what you want, believe you can achieve it, and then move heaven and earth to make it so.
Success is that simple.
Give it a try and see for yourself.
